Nine years ago, Oscar came to us with the idea of creating a website in which we could develop a comic strip of editorial nature in the manner of the so called, sunday strips. Yes, you got it right, I’m talking about Square Chronikles, but unlike newspaper strips, ours would be published daily, which meant a production challenge for us. Though Oscar had the idea years before, it was until the year 2003 when we did the first actual business meeting. And so, little by little, the brainstorming about what or how the subjects and characters would be dealt with, etc began.

It’s important to say that from the beginning, Oscar always was very clear about how these strips would be a place in which we would talk about the problems in our industry as well as entertainment subjects, but it was until two years ago that the dream became real, and Square Chronikles saw the light, and to our amazement, with grate acceptance. Our characters immediately took place in the liking of the audience, and of course, our rating’s thermometer is the Wednesday strip known as Square Chronikles, where taboo subjects are treated, which nobody dares to talk about in our decaying industry.
Definitively, if it wasn’t for all of your support, these strips would’ve never had the success they’ve had so far, and that, I assure you, will continue happening.
